Pics & Works in Progress

Hi everyone, as promised a pic of the dies I treated myself to for my birthday last week. Aren't they super cute! Looking forward to using but first I have to wrap up a couple of projects. This one is a clutch purse for my sister...we're both handbag addicts so this is sure to please her I hope.I gathered some lace and put on the back and need to finish the front & strap as well as make photo mats and tags for album so hopefully I'll finish that this week.

I made her a beach bag for her birthday present silly me forgot to take pics :(... which should be delivered today/tomorrow (it's ok to tell you coz she doesn't follow my blog lol) and I had some leftover paper from that so made an explosion box which also needs completing.

and finally a pressie from a girlfriend

I seriously need to tackle my craft room with a vacuum & duster, it's a tad messy plus I want to reorganise it since my snazzy new Canon printer arrived it's taking up alot of space that my ecrafter will sit so I'm going to be busy this week with that & finishing projects. Have a creatively great week too!
 

New Facebook Exclusive

My fanbase on facebook shot over the 200 recently so I thought it high time I gave you fans a new exclusive, here it is today, hopefully you won't have any issues like last time downloading, but I have tested from my personal facebook account and it worked so if it works for me it should for you :) I had a lovely birthday, brought a few things I probably shouldn't have but hey you only get one birthday a year so I just went for it lol...that's my excuse. My friend knows how I'm addicted to anything crafty so her presents usually are that way inclined and she got me a Xyron Creative Station it's the 5 inch one. I didn't let her know I have the 2.5 inch one but it's all good because I'll give the smaller one to the kids, they're forever wanting to borrow it or something from my craft room. I brought a few...well maybe abit more than a few but it was a good deal I thought 22 dies for $99.I'll show you some photos tomorrow as the batteries are flat in my camera, so until then...

Simply Summer Papers 02 Freebie

Hi everyone, thank you for your comments they are appreciated. Here are part 2 of Simply Summer papers for you. I had mild success with my new toy yesterday, managed to cut a flower & a box but it still has some issues so I'm returning it and after finding the top 10 personal cutting machines and reading reviews decided to go with an Ecrafter, it's advantage is no mat, used with or without a pc, I can import SVG files too, so I think this machine will be pefect for me (fingers crossed). Shame I couldn't find one in Australia, I had to order from US and the $100 shipping is almost half the cost of the machine...but it's going to be my birthday present from hubby, he just doesn't know it yet lol.

Simply Butterflies Freebie

Hi everyone, thank you for your comments they are appreciated, special thanks to Granny Enchanted who showcased Simply Summer Freebies, she's alittle treasure & has a ton of goodies too on her awesome site here.  I know I promised a second set of papers for you today but I haven't had the chance to zip (valid reason lol) and upload yet but I do have these butterfly journal strips or I guess they could be used as a border anything goes in scrapping doesn't it? :) So anyway yesterday my Silhouette Digital Craft Cutter arrived...omg it was like Christmas I was so excited, but that feeling didn't last long! After 2 hours I still couldn't get it to work on my desktop grrr, I have a 64bit Windows 7 and it just did not want to co-operate. The Silhouette disc apparently had 3 trojans on it lol..so after tearing my hair out (whats left of it) I tried installing on my HP laptop which has Vista...success (kind of) I still got silly error messages like no Robo driver, had to go search & download it...finally got it installed by ignoring the trojan messages, I mean seriously how can a brand new disc have those on it? Anyways got it up & running tested and cut alittle arrow box out - yes! Tried to cut a flower & it registered the marks, started to cut then blade just stopped, excuse me while I screaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaam! Ahh that feels better! So you can guess I'll be wasting a whole bunch of hours figuring this machine out again today. I knew I should've paid more and got the electronic Cameo! Do wish me luck! Sorry download expired.

Hope you had a lovely relaxing weekend, mine not so, we dogsat the neighbours dog Allie and the little madam managed to escape twice! So there I was walking up & down the road 7am in the freezing cold with a nasty cold looking for her...finally saw her in someones backyard called & called with my hoarse throat but her ears were photoshopped on I think lol...luckily they had a dog and it came to say hello to me with Allie following nearby, I grabbed her leash and dragged the little darling home. Only to repeat the process again in the afternoon because the kids (bless them) took the rope I had attached to the broken leash off and she escaped again. I assumed she revisited the same dog and yes she was there luckily! Thankful her owners return today :) As promised the beginning of freebies for Simply Summer kit. 4th July Flourish Freebies

I know I've been MIA for a couple of days...well I couldn't scrap coz the kids had my external HD with a couple of their movies on it in their playroom...however we had a snake (cringe, shudder, scream lol) venture it's way into the garage and since you need to walk through the garage to get to their playroom it wasn't happening! I was NOT going near there or downstairs for that matter! Thankfully hubby saw the snake yesterday and managed to get it outside but it was too fast and disappeared somewhere near the mail box he said...oh that's a good place for it! I'm expecting mail today! So I may have to use a broom stick to stand well away from mail box and lift the lid every day for the rest of my life! :(
